DAYTONA BEACH, Fla.—Costa Sunglasses, part of EssilorLuxottica, has begun its Florida OneCoast Tour, a series of donation events and community support efforts along Florida’s west coast in response to the impact from Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The tour runs through November 24, visiting select retailers form Fort Myers to Crystal River. Along this route, Costa will raise funds for hurricane relief and provide direct assistance to the Worldwide Anglers Relief Fund (WARF), a project started by Costa and the International Game Fish Association to provide financial support to recreational angling communities in the wake of major natural disasters.

Since 2017, WARF has distributed more than $305,000 to support local captains, guides and crew members in disaster-affected areas, Costa said. Alongside this, Costa will use the tour to collect donations of essential supplies and give local residents opportunities to get involved in the rebuilding process. This tour is part of Costa’s ongoing OneCoast initiative, which was created to aid costal communities affected by natural disasters.

Throughout November, Costa is matching a portion of sales on Costa sunglasses, apparel and accessories at participating retailers, with proceeds benefiting the WARF. In addition, in collaboration with Grey Bell Rescue Foundation, select retail locations will host supply drop centers for in-store donations, and customers in person can donate $10 or more via a QR code to receive a Costa T-shirt.

Several brand partners, including Yeti, Protekt, Camp Chef and Turtlebox have joined to support the tour; the Costa fleet will feature the Costa Airstream and the Race Trailer Donation Center at a variety of community events, including happy hours, barbeques and a local fishing tournament. Finally, in between tour stops Costa team members and its conservation partners International Game Fish Association, Captains for Clean Water and Tampa Bay Waterkeeper will aid in rebuilding projects and source local charter captains for waterway cleanups.

Costa invites the public to support the Florida OneCoast Tour by visiting local stops, donating supplies or participating in the fundraising efforts.
