Ziggy Stardust is a unisex style inspired by Bowie’s costumes during his Glam period. It is a natural acetate frame in three colors: mottled, using a mix of colors reminiscent of Bowie’s iconic stripes and the shoulder-padded spacesuit he wore on The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust Tour; black with silver stripes, inspired by the patent leather bodysuit he wore on the Aladdin Sane Tour; and white and blue translucent acetate reminiscent of Bowie’s own glasses from this period. The Thin White Duke is a metal sunglass with mineral crystal lenses available in pink, blue and black.

Etnia Barcelona said the David Bowie tribute collection ties into their larger brand message of being proud of what makes you different. Earlier this year, the brand’s I’MPERFECT ad campaign also celebrated uniqueness and individuality. The limited-edition styles are bold and symbolic, like Bowie, and allow wearers to be authentically self-expressive, the company said.
