NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J.—Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) has announced the appointment of Shawn Millerick as president, Vision Care, Americas, effective November 11, 2024. According to the company, Millerick will be responsible for defining strategy and driving growth for Johnson & Johnson’s vision care portfolio in North America and LATAM, including the contact lens family Acuvue. The company cited Millerick's expertise in the vision space, including strong knowledge regarding commercial strategy and enterprise solutions, as well as broad consumer health care experience and over-the-counter marketing, with a focus on shopper marketing and category insights.

Additionally, Erin Powers, vice president of North America, Surgical Vision, has taken on expanded responsibilities, now leading the surgical vision business across both the U.S. and Canada, the company reported.
