Product: Echo Frames from Amazon
Top Line: Amazon, which introduced its Echo Frames smart audio glasses in December, is now offering them now available with polarized sun lenses and blue-light-filtering lenses.
Close Up: These new options, available in both prescription non-Rx form, make it easy to benefit from the convenience of smart audio glasses by enabling hands-free access to Alexa. The sunglasses come in two polarized sunglass lens options: classic and blue mirror. They are lightweight and IPX4-rated to withstand splashes of water and sweat. The blue-light-filtering lenses are recommended for anyone who spends a lot of time looking at digital screens. The design of the frame—which includes flexible hinges and optician-adjustable temple tips—makes it  comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
Echo Frames are designed with open-ear audio. Nestled in the temples, open-ear audio directs sound to your ears so wearers can discreetly join a conference call or catch up with a friend without blocking the world around them. Wearers can also communicate with other Echo devices using Echo Frames, including using Drop In to connect to Alexa-enabled devices in their home. Echo Frames can also be used like a personal intercom system. Announcements can broadcast to multiple Alexa-enabled devices.
With Auto Volume Control, wearers can choose to have Echo Frames automatically adjust the volume of their media content at the start of playback based on environmental noise, increasing volume in noisier surroundings and lowering the volume in quieter situations.
