Top Line: Women In Optometry has launched three new content areas dedicated for ECPs who are not currently ODs, in order to be more inclusive and expand the range of content offered.
Close Up: The new content pillars are Students, Opticians and Non-Optical Staff. Under the Students pillar, users can hear advice from recent graduates, read about trending topics in education and the workforce, and meet the 2024 student advisory board. Under the Opticians pillar, users will learn success stories from opticians, get tips and find links to free ABO CE. Finally, under the Non-Optical Staff pillar, users will learn how staff members are helping elevate their practices, get inspired and find Pro-to-Pro articles of interest for the entire staff.
Vital Stats: Marjolijn Bijlefeld, editor in chief, told VMAIL, “We're excited about expanding our reach. So many of the topics we cover in Women In Optometry are applicable and interesting to women throughout the profession. We wanted to be sure that all readers feel that they have a starting point as they come into the website and join the platform. We look forward to hearing from all our readers.”
