PADUA, Italy and PARIS—Safilo and Pierre Cardin have announced the renewal of the licensing agreement to design, manufacture and distribute prescription frames and sunglasses under the Pierre Cardin brand. Safilo and Pierre Cardin's first collection together debuted in 1991, and the renewal will now run until Dec. 21, 2026. Pierre Cardin's most recent eyewear collection, the Pierre Cardin Evolution limited edition sunglasses, were presented in September at a fashion show held at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris to celebrate the release of the documentary film The House of Cardin.
