EYECARE GoodVision USA Announces Leadership Changes By Staff Thursday, February 6, 2025 12:15 AM Matt Gianino. NEWTON, Mass.—GoodVision USA, a nonprofit organization with the goal of improving global access to vision care, has announced key leadership changes. Matt Gianino has been appointed as the new executive director with former executive director and founder Jennifer Hyde transitioning to the role of associate director of strategy and partnerships, according to the announcement. Gianino brings 20 years of leadership experience from nonprofits in the U.S. and Africa. His expertise in strategic planning, relationship building and community outreach will be key as GoodVision USA expands its reach and impact, the company said. “GoodVision’s uniquely impactful and scalable model is both impressive and exciting,” said Gianino, expressing his commitment to help uplift marginalized communities. “Transforming the lives of the almost 1 billion people without access to vision care for as little as $1 demonstrates GoodVision’s rare high impact model. Building upon its strong foundation, it is exciting to think about how much good our team will do in the most vulnerable parts of our world.” Hyde’s journey with GoodVision USA began with a personal realization about the global lack of eyeglass access. Her background as a Peace Corps volunteer in Congo and her experience in international public health make her uniquely qualified to drive strategic partnerships. “I’m excited to focus on building the relationships and strategies that will take GoodVision USA to the next level,” Hyde said. “Matt’s leadership, combined with our team’s dedication, sets the stage for incredible progress in our fight for universal vision care access.” The group noted that this strategic restructuring positions GoodVisionUSA to accomplish several of its strategic goals, including expanding its reach to underserved communities globally and amplifying advocacy efforts for universal access to eyecare.
