RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—Eyefinity, a VSP Vision company and a leader in cloud-based practice management and electronic health records software, announced that it has partnered with Dr. Contact Lens to bring more valuable product integrations to its customers. Eyefinity Practice Management users were able to take advantage of this new integration beginning Sept. 2, 2024, according to the announcement. Dr. Contact Lens offers patients access to their prescription so they can order contact lenses through their independent optometrist.

"Our partnership with Dr. Contact Lens marks a significant step forward in enhancing the patient experience and streamlining practice operations," said Charlie Biegel, president of Eyefinity. "This integration not only provides patients with a seamless, modern ordering process but also empowers our Eyefinity practices to strengthen their patient relationships and boost retention. By keeping contact lens orders directly connected to the practice, we're helping optometrists maintain continuity of care while meeting the evolving expectations of today's tech-savvy patients."

In addition, optical staff will be able to efficiently identify which patients need contact lens refills and send them order reminders, the announcement stated, thereby optimizing the process for the practice and the patient.

“Our brand promise is to preserve the doctor-patient relationship and deepen the doctor’s purchasing relationship with patients,” said Dr. Contact Lens co-founder and CEO Brianna Rhue, OD. “We are excited to integrate with Eyefinity and offer opportunities for Eyefinity Practice Management users to focus on the most important part of their practice—the patients.”
