PLANO, Texas—Eyecare Republic (ECR), a doctor alliance group serving the needs of private practice optometrists, has announced the addition of three new partnerships that the company said will strengthen its nationwide network of independent optometrists. ECR has added partners Bausch + Lomb, Fait Distribution, and I-Deal Optics to its growing roster. According to the company, these collaborations are intended to unlock new professional development opportunities for members and provide access to cutting-edge resources that improve both clinical and business practices.

EyeCare Republic, led by its two founding optometrists, Justin Weigel, OD, and Neal Troyer, OD, launched in April of 2024, as reported by VMAIL.

“We’re dedicated to offering eyecare professionals innovative contact lens technologies that meet their patients' needs,” said Dinesh Guglani, vice president and general manager of North America Vision Care at Bausch + Lomb. “As Eyecare Republic’s premier contact lens partner, we’re excited to support their 20,000 independent practices nationwide. We look forward to collaborating on new product developments and business solutions that will benefit their members.”

“Fait Distribution is excited to partner with EyeCare Republic as an elite level contact lens distributor," said Chad Moder, vice president of sales, Fait Distribution. "We are passionate about working alongside our customers to help them achieve their business and financial goals, while providing exemplary service to their offices."

Michael Feldman, president and CEO of I-Deal Optics, added, “We are thrilled to partner with Eyecare Republic and are confident that our margin-building product lines and attentive service will bring great value to members. For over 27 years, we have been committed to supporting independent eyecare professionals, and this partnership aligns perfectly with our mission of enhancing revenue and driving growth.”

By offering access to business resources, continuing education and a collaborative peer network, ECR empowers optometrists to navigate these shifts while continuing to provide quality care, according to the company.
