MISSION VIEJO, Calif.—Total Vision, a leading and expanding California-based network of vision care providers, has announced the addition of Charles J. Korth, OD, Optometry in Pasadena, Calif. Established in 2001, Charles J. Korth, OD, Optometry is operated by Dr. Charles Korth, OD, and Dr. Allison Noritake, OD, who have been practicing optometry in the Pasadena area for many years. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. “We are pleased to be partnering with Total Vision to provide exceptional eyecare for our current and future patients,” Dr. Korth said in the announcement this week.

Total Vision, which is backed by New York City-based Bregal Partners, operates approximately 45 practice locations in California. The group is the largest network of vision providers in California and employs more than 450 team members, including 97 doctors, the announcement noted.
 
Charles J. Korth Optometry’s mission is to provide patients with a seamless and thorough visit, “catering to all of their eyecare needs with state-of-the-art equipment in a beautiful optical boutique,” the announcement noted.
 
Dr. Korth received his bachelor of arts degree at UCLA, with a double major in psychology and sociology. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1990 and has practiced in Pasadena ever since. He has extensive experience in contact lenses, and is certified to treat glaucoma.
 
Dr. Noritake, who was born and raised in Pasadena, graduated from the University of California, San Diego, where she was a Regent Scholar. She continued her post-graduate career at the State University of New York, College of Optometry in New York City, and graduated with a Doctorate of Optometry in 2016. She received the Johnson & Johnson Excellence Award in Clinical Contact Lenses Patient Care as well as The PaceSetter Award for Excellence in Primary Care.
 
She is also a member of the American Academy of Optometry (AAO) and the American Optometric Association (AOA).
 
Total Vision chief executive officer Neil Collier and chief medical officer Dr. Steve Klein welcomed Dr. Korth, Dr. Noritake, and the staff at Charles J. Korth Optometry to the Total Vision team.
