NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J.—Prism Vision Group (PVG), a vertically integrated eyecare services organization with practice groups along the East coast, has announced the addition of South Jersey Eye Physicians (SJEP) to the Prism network. SJEP’s organization includes a skilled team of board-certified ophthalmologists, sub-specialists, optometrists and opticians who have been providing care to patients in the  region since 1971, according to Prism Vision Group’s announcement this week. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Prism Vision Group is a portfolio company of the private equity firm Quad-C Management, according to the investment group’s website. The initial investment dates to 2018.

South Jersey Eye Physicians’ 10 doctors provide services at three New Jersey locations, in Moorestown, Columbus, and Medford. It’s flagship office in Moorestown is also home to a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center (ASC). SJEP clinicians provide a wide range of services, including routine eyecare, laser vision correction, cataract surgery, retina care, glaucoma care, pediatrics and low vision care, according to the announcement.

Prism Vision Group is one of the largest vertically integrated ophthalmology administrative services organizations (ASO) on the East Coast, with one of the largest networks of retinal care providers in the U.S. Its network is comprised of 74 locations, 140 providers and more than 1,100 employees throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Prism noted that it is a physician-led organization with a mission to support ophthalmology practices in “providing patients with world-class, comprehensive eyecare and an unrivaled practice environment for its network of affiliated physicians and employees.”
