RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—VSP Ventures and Optometric Management Group (OMG) have acquired Middletown Eye Care in Middletown, Ohio and Settlers Walk Eye Care in Springboro, Ohio, both led by Dr. Nathan Bjork and Dr. Katherine Fisher. The practices have served the Southwestern Ohio area for over 50 years and have grown to include associate doctors Sara Wagner, OD, Sloan Rudolf, OD, and 23 office staff committed to personalized patient care using advanced technology, according to an announcement.

“We’re honored to carry on Dr. Bjork and Dr. Fisher’s legacy and allow them to continue focusing on what matters most—caring for their patients,” said OMG chief operating officer Dave Anderson. “As optometrists ourselves, we understand what it takes to maintain a successful practice while also undertaking the responsibility of ensuring your community can see the things they love in life.”

The two locations come under a joint venture between VSP Ventures and OMG, which was established in 2021 to support private practices in Ohio. The partnership now includes 15 locations across the state.

“Dr. Bjork and Dr. Fisher have built long-standing and trusted practices that have cared for generations of families within their communities,” said VSP Ventures president Kathleen Steele. “We’re proud to expand our network of practices to include their expertise and commitment to excellent patient care.”
