RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—VSP Ventures, a VSP Vision company and practice transition option for doctors searching for alternative practice models, has announced it has acquired 13 new practices in the first half of 2024. The company advised that this expansion includes it’s first location in Florida, bringing the total number of VSP Ventures locations to 93 practices across California, Florida, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas, according to the announcement. “Doctors who partner with VSP Ventures to transition their practices often share they appreciate our care-focused approach to eyecare, as well as how efficiently we take on the administrative burdens of running the practice,” said VSP Ventures president Kathleen Steele.

“We feel great about that reputation. At Ventures, our goal is to work with doctors who are seeking an active partner in practice operations, allowing them to focus exclusively on patient care. We’re grateful these doctors trust our team and the VSP Ventures model,” Steele said.

As of Aug. 26, 2024, the company advised that newly added practice locations to the VSP Ventures network in 2024 include:
