GREEN BAY, Wis.—Shopko Optical, a leader in providing trusted eyecare to communities for over 40 years, has acquired Beaver Dam Eye Care, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, according to an announcement from Shopko. As part of this new affiliation, Dr. Eugene Swanson and Dr. Stacy Neperud will continue providing comprehensive eyecare services to the Beaver Dam community as part of Shopko Optical Beaver Dam, located at 820 Park Avenue. Their first day practicing as part of Shopko Optical was Monday, December 20.

“We are very excited for Dr. Swanson, Dr. Neperud and their staff to join Shopko Optical in Beaver Dam,” said Russ Steinhorst, Shopko Optical CEO. “We share a commitment to patient-centric care and strong community-based values.”
 
Through its Kids in Focus program, Shopko Optical partners with the local Lions Club to identify eligible children from the area to receive a comprehensive eye exam and pair of glasses. In addition, Shopko Optical teammates receive paid time off to volunteer in their community.
