SAN DIEGO--Steven Schwartz has been
named eastern regional manager for Shamir Insight. A new position,
he will oversee Shamir Insight's sales activities in the eastern
United States.
He has 14 years of optical industry
experience, most recently at Marchon Eyewear, where he worked
closely with a national sales team. As national brand specialist,
he hired and trained sales reps while monitoring sales performance
to ensure monthly sales goals.

Schwartz reports to Carmen
Renschler, national sales manager. "Steve's experience in training
and educating a large sales team complements Shamir's mission to
provide comprehensive education to the optical industry, eyecare
professionals, and laboratories."
Reporting to Schwartz are two new
sales reps covering eastern states. Aaron Dynes has been named
account representative for Ohio. With nearly 14 years' optical
industry experience, nine of them in optical lens buying and
selling, Dynes will serve labs and eyecare professionals in Ohio.
Most recently, he was associate lens buyer and lens merchandising
supervisor for Luxottica Retail, where he purchased and managed
several brands and was responsible for Canadian lens recalls and
markdown analysis.

Jonathan Simon |
Jonathan Simon will serve as account
representative in Pennsylvania, serving ECPs and labs in that
state. He previously worked at Spechler Optical in Cherry Hill,
N.J., as manager, assistant manager, and sales
associate.
Both Dynes and Simon will be
responsible for detailing detailing Shamir's family of premium
progressive lenses, including Genesis, Piccolo, and Office lenses
to ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians, along with
Shamir's ReCreating Perfect Vision partnering
laboratories.
