Oakley Partners With Lance Armstrong Foundation By Staff Thursday, July 23, 2009 4:30 PM Oakley is auctioning off a one-of-a-kind LIVESTRONG Jawbone sunglass autographed by cycling legend Lance Armstrong with all proceeds going to the Lance Armstrong Foundation which aims to inspire and empower people affected by cancer. The frame and packaging bare Armstrong's autograph and the frame features a "TdF 2009" printed on the inner surface in honor of this year's Tour de France and Armstrong's bid for an unprecedented eighth victory. The eBay auction is open globally and kicked off on July 16th. It will remain open for the last 10 days of the Tour and close on July 26th at 12pm PST. "[Lance’s] foundation brings hope to people all over the world. Oakley customers have shown their support [with Oakley’s] total contributions now approaching $2.5 million. This eBay auction will generate further awareness for the cause, and we are proud to contribute all proceeds to the foundation," said Colin Baden, president of Oakley.
