PARSIPPANY, N.J.—Fendi has presented its Spring/Summer 2014 eyewear collection, produced and distributed by Safilo Group, comprised of exclusive sunglasses and optical frames designed for “the contemporary, unequivocally feminine woman,” Safilo said.

The initial launch collection includes 16 eyeglass and 15 sunglass models featuring unique shapes and iconic detailing, such as the Fendi monogram, the legendary striped “Pequin” motif and the celebrated 2Jours decoration.

The new collection features premium quality materials such as; acetate, metal, custom-made materials and Optyl, as well as semi-precious stones, like tiger’s eye and snowflake obsidian, on limited edition frame FF 0031/S, which celebrate the House’s savoir-faire and timeless elegance.

The color palette includes refined shades and edgy color contrasts highlighted by an alluring interplay of materials, jewel-like details and shaded or mirrored lenses. Frame packaging consists of a soft pouch in a black leatherette material with magnet closure, a microfiber cloth printed with the Fendi logo and an authenticity card. Limited edition style FF 0031/S has dedicated special packaging in the shape of a clutch.

Available merchandising materials are one- or three-place branded displays, logo plaques, counter top trays, counter cards, 12- or 28-piece tower displays, three-piece micro elements set for shelving and modular window displays.
