In the Oscar-nominated film Nebraska, June Squibb plays Kate Grant, the feisty, outspoken wife of a difficult man now suffering from dementia. June created a lot of buzz with her performance in the film, and after a more than 60-year career, the 84-year-old actress was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. After her scene-stealing role, June went on to play Lena Dunham's Grandma Flo in season three of the HBO hit show Girls. Million Dollar Arm, which hit theaters on May 16, stars Jon Hamm and Aasif Mandvi. Based on a true story, the film follows Hamm's character in a last ditch effort to save his career as a sports agent by concocting a scheme to find baseball's next great pitcher. He travels to India to produce a reality show competition called "Million Dollar Arm," hoping to find a young cricket pitcher he can turn into a major league baseball star. He discovers two 18-year old boys who don't know how to play baseball, yet have a knack for throwing a fastball. In the movie, Mandvi plays Hamm's business partner and is seen wearing the Seraphin Emerson eyeglasses from Ogi Eyewear throughout the film...

It has been quite a year for Lupita Nyong'o. In 2013, she landed her first feature film role in Steve McQueen's historical drama 12 Years a Slave.
