MASON, Ohio—The ECP Network and Diversified Ophthalmics welcomed ECPs from seven states to the Kings Island Summer Seminar in Mason, Ohio, on Aug. 24. The seminar featured nine hours of optometric continuing education along with a 19-space exhibit experience.

“Our CE has long been recognized as top-notch. Combined with the unique attributes of our exhibits, attendees and vendors receive an excellent return on investment in the seminar,” said Ronald F. Cooke, OD, president and CEO, Diversified.

Ben Krieger, ECP Network vice president of ECP services, added, “As an emerging GPO (Group Practice Organization) with over 1,000 members, the ECP Network breaks the mold of “traditional” GPOs by introducing unique products and services to ECPs.”

The ECP Network is a practice development organization that offers independent ECPs the tools to manage a successful practice. The organization will hold a national meeting for all members in August, 2015 featuring CE accompanied by “a dynamic and dimensional exhibit experience for industry representatives,” according to the event’s planners.

An announcement regarding the conference name, location, and dates is expected during the fourth quarter of 2014. Interested ECPs can learn more by contacting the ECP Network at (888) 321-2020 or online at info@ecpnetwork.com. n
