GRAPEVINE, Texas—Pro Fit Optix, based here, announced that is has expanded its management team.

 
Hoa Nguyen
Hoa Nguyen has been appointed to the newly created position, executive vice president of technology and operations. He will oversee Pro Fit’s R&D and manufacturing activities in Europe and Asia.

Nguyen is a founder of TransPacific Enterprise Loop, a technology and business service provider. He has also served as vice president of business development and financial services of Valere, a multi-national, business-to-business financial company. Additionally, Nguyen is the founder of the business software solutions firm All-Tech Solutions.

 
Alan Yuster
Alan Yuster has been appointed to the new position of executive vice president, international business development. Yuster, a founder of Pro Fit Optix, had previously served as the company’s executive vice president, operations. He has more than 25 years experience in optical sales, management and operations, and has held senior management positions with Optische Werke G. Rodenstock Germany, Rodenstock USA and Younger Optics. He has also served as a consultant to a number of manufacturers and retail optical stores.

 
Steve Brewer
Steve Brewer, who is executive vice president, vision insurance programs, has taken on the additional responsibility of national accounts. He brings 35 years of optical industry experience as a senior level executive and industry consultant at companies such as Bausch + Lomb, CooperVision, Alcon, Essilor of America and United Healthcare.

Pro Fit Optix is reorganizing after filing a Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition on Feb. 9 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Florida. ■
