Today families come in all shapes and sizes. Divorce, re-marriage, adoption, single parent households and same sex partnerships have become the “new” face of American families and television has changed to reflect this. The newest Bold Face features four famous TV family faces…

ABC’s “Modern Family” is only in its first season and it has already won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series. That, however, is not the only award the hit show took home at the recent awards show. Actor Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cameron Tucker, the quirky, dramatic, outgoing half of a same sex couple raising a child, also took home his first Emmy for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series. Despite his recent success, this low-key Kansas native, seen here in the Marchon Collection optical style M526, has been acting since 1999 and has a number of notable roles in both film and television alike, including “CSI,” “ER,” “The West Wing,” “Nip/Tuck,” and another family oriented show – “Party of Five.” “Modern Family” returns for its second season this fall…

Speaking of “Party of Five,” it is the show that first widely introduced the world to Jennifer Love Hewitt. She rose to fame for her role as Sarah Reeves in the Fox’s “Party of Five,” the longtime girlfriend of one of the central characters. The show, set in San Francisco, centered on the five Salinger siblings who become orphans after their parents are killed by a drunk driver, also won an award in its first season, the Golden Globe for Best Drama, despite low ratings. Hewitt continues to act on TV and she can be seen here wearing the Mykita Franz sunglasses while hosting a pool party in Las Vegas to promote her latest Lifetime Movie “The Client List”…

Though Tori Spelling’s breakthrough role was playing Donna Martin on “Beverly Hills: 90210” in the early nineties, today she is most notable for authoring three books on her life and her two reality television series, first “So NoTORIous” and then “Tori & Dean,” which chronicles her life with husband Dean McDermott and their family. From an interesting and affluent family herself, part of the mass appeal of her reality show is the sneak into Spellings relatively normal and mundane family life with the odd moment of total bizarre hilarity thrown it. Here she is during one of those moments of normalcy wearing the Tom Ford Alexandra sunglasses from Marcolin

Reality television is an unfortunate truth of our time. Some good but most bad, a show that has somehow managed to strike a cord with viewing audiences is E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” Originally conceived as a vehicle to expand and legitimize Kim Kardashian’s fame by featuring her among her family members, some of the shows best story lines revolve around sisters Kourtney and Khloe. In fact, it has even earned the two of them their own spin-off show, “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.” Here Khloe Kardashian can be seen in the Marc Jacobs MJ098S sunglasses from Safilo. The fifth season of “Keeping Up with the Kardasians” is currently airing on E!.
