NEW YORK—Eco, the environmentally-inspired eyewear concept and collection from Modo Eyewear has been building its involvement online via a Web site and growing social media presence.

The Web site, at www.eco-optics.com enables visitors to access 11 theme areas, including the philosophy of the “360° sustainability approach” of the brand. The site showcases the frames throughout the eco brand collection as well as its various donation programs, such as “one frame, one tree” and the Modo donation center which enables customers to recycle eyewear to be donated to various charities.

The site also highlights eco’s new UL Validation, which certifies that eco frames are made of at least 95 percent recycled metal and plastic.

Eco has also increased its “socializing” with new presence on Twitter and Facebook.
