NEW YORK—From the tough economy and President Obama’s mission to reform health care to the aging population and the awareness of the need for healthy lifestyles, “wellness” and its clear relationship to eye health, is an issue now firmly on the radar of vision care professionals, organizations, public health-care officials, legislators, managed care groups and optical professionals.
