LOUIS—EyeCare Partners, a provider of clinically integrated eyecare, has announced that Joel Day has been named executive vice president, finance, and will take the chief financial officer role with the company, effective June 1, 2024. He will have responsibility for the strategic planning, implementation and management of all EyeCare Partners finance activities, including accounting, business planning, budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle management (RCM) and procurement. Day will succeed Bob Gold, who has shared his intent to depart the organization, effective May 31.

Walmart to Close U.S. Health Clinics, Reaffirms Its Commitment to Vision Centers and Pharmacies

Walmart also said it will end virtual health care services. Walmart's decision to close all of its 51 health clinics is a reversal of its plan announced last year to nearly double the number of these health centers across the U.S. by 2024.
