Mei System Intros NoBlock Module for EzFit Edger

Product: EzFit NoBlock Module
Top Line: EzFit, an all-in-one edger from Mei Systems that is designed to bring milling technology to small workshops and high-end or high-quantity retail outlets—now comes in a semi-automatic model thanks to the NoBlock module, which offers automatic error-free lens centering. With NoBlock, which is also available as an update, EzFit can operate without using a block.
Close Up: The NoBlock module includes a frontofocometer, the blockless centering system for monofocal, bifocal and progressive lenses, and a dual loading arm for automatic machine loading/unloading. The module loads the next lens while the machine is shaping the previous one and, in combination with EzFit, allows users without any particular experience to position the lens properly by automatically compensating for any errors.
Vital Stats: The NoBlock module can work in two ways: non-stop, to obtain maximum output, or single-pair, to shape both lenses without user interaction. Non-stop operations allow EzFit to work uninterrupted, thus allowing a new job to be prepared while the previous one is still in progress. Single-pair operation requires both lenses to be loaded and shapes both without any need for user interaction.

NBA All-Star Chris Paul Helps Develop Sports Vision App

More Images
Product: Chris Paul’s Game Vision
Top Line: CP3 is an app designed for professional and amateur athletes who want to improve their sports vision. It consists of a game that trains vision skills which are essential for better on-court and on-field performance.
Close Up: Game Vision was created by a team of top scientists in partnership with nine-time NBA all-star Chris Paul to help everyone that plays sports at any level to see faster by training vision through levels of difficulty that exercise processing speed, vision sharpness and focusing speed. Paul tested the app during its beta version and gave the developers, Innovision Labs, feedback both as a professional athlete and as a father.
"I believe in the technology behind this innovative app and so I wanted to have a vested interest in the success of the company but also wanted to help promote the app to raise awareness around this groundbreaking science,” said Paul. “Mobile is also an incredibly fast growing category and there is a huge opportunity within this space. I am very hands on with all of my business endeavors and partnerships, and this seemed like a great addition to my portfolio. I entered into a business partnership with InnoVision, and as part of that I own a very small stock position in the company."
Playing the game at least two to four levels every day will enable the user to reach 100 percent of their daily goal and get the optimal sports vision training, according to Innovision Labs. Game Vision will let users track their progress with stats so they can stay on top of their improvement.
Vital Stats: Chris Paul’s Game Vision is available for free on the App Store and on Google Play.
