Match Eyewear Launches AV Studio Collection

More Images
Quick Take: Match Eyewear will launch AV Studio, a partner brand to their Adrienne Vittadini Eyewear collection, at Vision Expo West.
Wearer: Following in the footsteps of Adrienne Vittadini, AV Studio reinvents casual elegance by bringing a bold and sexy edge to classic eyewear designs for young women, 20 to 35, who have a chic and adventurous sense of style.
Specifics: The collection includes 18 ophthalmic and eight sunwear styles.
Selling Points: Standouts include the vintage inspired, librarian-style design of ophthalmic style AV-84S, which has been updated with a spray of Swarovski crystals on narrow acetate temples, and the AV-54S, an almond shaped, matte metal combination frame with a subtle touch of Swarovski crystals. Sun style AVS-104 showcases retro Hollywood glamour with an oversized cat-eye shaping in polished acetate, textured metal and Swarovski crystal temple treatments. "The AV Studio collection is cool and a little audacious, but it maintains the polish and accessible luxury of the Adrienne Vittadini brand," said Ethan Goodman, president of Match. New brand images and logos will be featured in integrated marketing efforts and merchandising materials, including counter cards and logo plaques, to support the collection.

Zyloware Presents Red Lotus by Zyloware Collection

More Images
Quick Take: Zyloware has launched the Red Lotus by Zyloware eyewear collection in response to demographic trends and retail requests for eyewear that is both fashionable and designed to fit, the company said.
Wearer: The collection specifically fits women with broader faces, flatter bridges, high cheekbones and/or wide foreheads.
Specifics: Red Lotus Eyewear has launched with six styles and 14 skus and includes styles made of handcrafted zyl with adjustable nosepads and full and semi-rimless metal styles. Design elements include rich colors, animal prints, layers and engravings.
Selling Points: “Acknowledging and addressing a market need has been one of Zyloware’s greatest successes,” said Christopher Shyer, Zyloware president. “Listening to ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians and the voice of consumers is one of the secrets to Zyloware’s successful 90 years serving the vision care industry.” The collection’s special fit is accomplished thanks to wider angles at the nasal area and wider curvature across the front to provide a better and more comfortable fit. “S” shaped nosepad arms are incorporated in all styles to allow the frames to sit farther from the face, reach flatter bridges and provide better adjustment to keep the frames from sliding.
