The Music Keeps Playing at this One of a Kind School

I had a dentist friend named Elliot who loved jazz and played good jazz piano. Rockin’ for New Eyes Tickets on Sale Now

NEW YORK—Tickets are now on sale for Rockin’ for New Eyes, the annual rock ‘n’ roll fundraiser in support of New Eyes for the Needy. The popular show, which will take place at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square on March 23, features volunteer performers from throughout the optical industry and is a highlight of Vision Expo week. Corporate support, the main source of revenue for the fund-raiser, is on the rise, according to show organizers. They are aiming to top the $217,000 raised at last year’s show for New Eyes for the Needy, a charity that supplies new eyewear to needy children and adults, free of charge. This year’s show will have a ’60s theme, complete with lights, decorations, costumes, live music and dancing to conjure up the spirit of the era.
