LONGARONE, Italy—Marcolin has announced the launch of the Tom Ford Private Eyewear Collection, a special edition of five sunglasses and six optical frames designed for the eyewear connoisseur. This 11-piece collection commemorates Tom Ford’s 11 years of making eyewear.

“These are the frames that I personally wear and in some instances originally designed only for myself. This is truly my own private collection,” said Tom Ford. “In most cases, these editions of my favorite frames have been produced in new elevated materials that are uncommon in most commercially produced frames.”

Crafted from premium materials, the collection utilizes real buffalo horn for its natural pattern and warm, luxurious finish, as well as the highest-grade Japanese titanium for its ultra-light weight and sleek, progressive look. All sunglasses feature photochromic lenses that darken and lighten automatically depending on the light conditions, while the optical lenses are lightly tinted in green, blue or brown.

The new Tom N.4 sunglass, pictured here, features Tom Ford’s signature cross-front that reinvents the classic aviator for a head-turning look. Made of titanium, this style is available in shiny rose gold, light ruthenium and black with light brown or smoke with silver mirror photochromic lenses.

The collection is available at Tom Ford stores and select retailers worldwide as well as online at Tomford.com.
