Altair Eyewear Debuts First Optical Collection for Draper James Eyewear

NEW YORK—Altair Eyewear Inc., a division of Marchon Eyewear Inc. has launched the first ever optical collection for Draper James, the Southern-inspired lifestyle brand founded by Reese Witherspoon in 2013.

The new line will feature 12 optical styles for spring 2019 and will exude the Southern charm that has become the signature of the successful brand that is known for its ready-to-wear, accessories and home décor. Witherspoon will also be featured in the campaign imagery for the launch collection.

The new optical collection takes direction from Draper James’ vibrant and contemporary take on Southern charm and offers an array of feminine styles in an inclusive range of designs and eye sizes. The debut line focuses on two key collections, which were developed and designed in a mix of acetate and metal frame shapes to complement the brand’s essence.

The key collections focus on different stylistic elements such as the heritage stripes and floral prints that have become synonymous with Draper James’ apparel and accessories as well as elegant stripes, hand-set crystals and the brand’s magnolia print for a touch of whimsy and a modern twist.

Beginning in March 2019, the new Draper James optical eyewear line will be distributed globally and sold in over 2,000 points of sale including optical chains and specialty retailers as well as through independent eyecare practices.
