MADISON, Wis.—The seventh annual Great Glasses Play Day took place the weekend of May 5 to 6. The event, which was founded by Kristin Ellsworth of Peeps Eyewear, Jessica Butler of Power Kid’s Wear and Ann Gwinn Zawistoski of Little Four Eyes aims to celebrate children and the advances that help them see better. The event also promotes awareness of the importance of early detection and treatment of vision issues. As the program continues to grow, it’s also evolving. “We have a new program launching next year focused on hosting events at children’s museums and partnering with ECPs and vision health organizations,” Ellsworth stated.
