CHICAGO—Tickets are now available for purchase for the 2022 Person of Vision Award Gala of Prevent Blindness honoring Rick Gadd, president of Essilor North America. The award presentation event will take place on March 31, 2022, at 583 Park Avenue, New York, N.Y., in conjunction with Vision Expo East. Gadd was announced as the 2022 honoree last month, as VMAIL reported. The annual  Prevent Blindness Person of Vision Award recognizes an individual, corporation and/or organization whose inspired outlook champions healthy vision and its importance for a healthy life.

Individual tickets may be purchased for $350 per person at https://preventblindness.org/personofvision2022. All proceeds from the event will go to support the sight-saving programs of Prevent Blindness.
 
2021 Person of Vision Honoree Marc Ferrara, Jobson Medical Information, and Sherianne James, Essilor of America, are serving as the 2022 Person of Vision Committee co-chairs. Additional committee members currently include Marge Axelrad, Vision Monday; Maureen Cavanagh, Prive Revaux; Dana Diemer, Essilor of America; Jim McGrann, Healthy Eyes Advantage PECAA; Joe Savarese, Jobson Interactive; and Jamie Shyer, Zyloware Eyewear.
