MARSEILLE, France—J.F. Rey has announced the arrival of Fabrice Albert as general manager of the company, effective September 16, 2024. Albert has worked in the optical industry for 25 years and has held numerous leadership positions within the industry, including with Lynx Optique, Inface, Design Eyewear Group, Silhouette Eyewear and PPG. Albert’s arrival aligns with J.F. Rey’s growth strategy, which was defined following the acquisition of the company three years ago by Walter Pirinoli (Visioptis), Ralf Kmoch (Visibilia) and Dan Levi, the announcement said.

According to J.F. Rey, Albert’s main concentration will be to “accelerate the brand’s growth while continuing to enhance its appeal, building on the core values that have made J.F. REY renowned.” The company will celebrate its 30th anniversary next year.
