ClearVision Launches Lone Star: The Texas Relief Collection to Support Texas Recovery Efforts

Quick Take: ClearVision has launched Lone Star: The Texas Relief Collection, an eyewear collection to support recovery efforts in response to the recent weather crisis in Texas.
Specifics: The Texas Relief Collection captures the pride and passion of what it means to be from Texas featuring an inlaid Star of Texas on the exterior of each temple. The interior of each temple features prints that capture scenery unique to Texas; women’s interior temples feature the flowers of Texas from Blue Bonnets to the wild flowers found along the Texas roadsides, while the men’s inside temples feature the iconic Keep Austin Weird tie-dye, sunsets and big Texas skies. Each frame also includes a case and a cleaning cloth featuring Texas scenery.
Selling Point: ClearVision will donate 50 percent of each sale directly back to Feeding Texas, the largest hunger-relief organization in the state. Every dollar donated to Feeding Texas provides ten meals, so every frame kit (made up of 10 frames) will contribute 1,500 meals. Peter Friedfeld, executive vice president at ClearVision, said, “We created our CVO Cares for this very purpose to help support our greater communities. We felt compelled to help Texas. Keeping the #eyecarestrong momentum going in 2021 we wanted to lend support in a way that the eyecare community could come together and support Texas.”
