Visionix Digital Phoropter Facilitates Social Distancing

Product: Visionix VX65 Digital Phoropter
Top Line: Luneau Technology USA has expanded its Visionix product line with the addition of the new Visionix VX65 digital phoropter. This next generation digital refraction technology is available for sale in the U.S. and Canada.
Close Up: The VX65 digital phoropter is designed to tackle heavy workloads. In a market where a majority of refractions are still conducted using a manual phoropter, the VX65 also provides a smooth transition for ECPs looking to initiate digital refraction into their practice.
According to Melissa Renfrow, Clinical Applications Specialist with Luneau Technology USA, “Visionix VX65 is designed with the busy clinic in mind. It is engineered for precision and durability, utilizing components that provide smooth and quiet operation with speedy lens transitions. In addition, it is built for maximum durability with on-going life-cycle testing now validating up to 10 years of intensive use.”
Vital Stats: The VX65 provides an affordable refraction solution that meets social distancing requirements in patient care today. The wireless tablet allows for operation at a safe distance from the patient which could be six feet away, next door—or even from a different office location.
The VX65 refraction tablet provides versatile options to enhance the experience for both new and advanced users. Practitioners can choose between “manual phoropter” or “autophoropter” modes, while controlling the entire refraction process from a hand-held tablet. For those not yet ready for a tablet, an optional ergonomic control panel is also available at an additional cost. Converting to the VX65 digital phoropter provides ECPs with the opportunity to export refraction data to their electronic medical records (EMR) system with the touch of a button. In addition, data from external devices such as AR/K and lensmeters can be imported to the VX65, expediting workflow and reducing errors to provide full data management for the practice.
In addition to easy operation and implementation, the new VX65 phoropter is backed by a five-year warranty, allowing practitioners to upgrade to digital refractions with confidence.
