CHICAGO—The National Center for Children’s Vision and Eye Health at Prevent Blindness (NCCVEH) and the National Head Start Association (NHSA) are joining together to launch the new “Small Steps for Big Vision: An Eye Health Information Tool Kit for Parents and Caregivers.”   The new resource has free information, suggested actions, and assistance for parents, guardians, and caregivers to be empowered partners in their children’s (as well as their own) vision and eye health. The toolkit, which is free, will be available for download on Oct. 20, 2020. As part of the launch, you and your colleagues are invited to a
webinar hosted by the NCCVEH on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020, from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. (ET). Staff of the NCCVEH will provide details about the program, and NHSA representatives who have successfully used the materials will share their experiences.
