Noha Abdalla Joins MyEyeDr. Leadership Team as Chief Marketing Officer

VIENNA, Va.—MyEyeDr. has announced the newest member of its leadership team, Noha Abdalla, who joined the company as chief marketing officer on Nov. 30. Sue Downes, MyEyeDr. CEO, said, “I am excited to have Noha’s talents on our team and the opportunity to work closely with her to lead our marketing innovation and digitization efforts. We know that her skills and talents will accelerate our efforts in creating the next generation patient experience.” Downes added, “Noha brings to MyEyeDr. strong functional leadership, a focus on service experiences, significant experience building teams and running marketing efforts at scale in ways that will most certainly have a positive impact on our brand, her team and the associate and patient experience over time.”

Noha Abdalla joins MyEyeDr from Hilton where she served as the global vice president of digital and content marketing. She led the global, enterprise-wide strategy for web content, SEO, email, social media and mobile marketing. She previously served as vice president, digital brand strategy and social media at Capital One, where she launched and grew Capital One's award-winning social media practice. In 2015, Abdalla was named one of AdWeek's Top 50 Marketers, and throughout 2015, 2016, and 2017 her team won five Clio awards. At Capital One she also launched the digital and physical experience for CapitalOne 360, the retail bank’s cafe model for direct banking. She joined Capital One from Discovery Communications, where she led marketing for Animal Planet, including the Surprisingly Human re-brand campaign in 2010. Abdalla also spent time leading national blood donor awareness campaigns for the American Red Cross and was a management consultant at Corporate Executive Board and Mercer Management Consulting. Throughout her experiences, she has built and developed high performing teams, and brings passion to her work, MyEyeDr. said.

Abdalla holds an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University and a BS in International Economics from Georgetown University.
