My Vision Show to Host 'Share Your Vision' March 25-28, and New My Vision Show Galleria, an Ongoing Virtual Conference Platform

NEW YORK—My Vision Show, the ever-growing virtual showcase, is back with a brand new event and an updated platform. Share Your Vision will be held on March 25-28, 2021 although the platform is open for registration on an invited, membership basis, to enable attendees to customize their own experience and interaction. In addition to hosting a variety of vendors and speakers, the Share Your Vision Showcase will also serve as the launch of My Vision Show Galleria, the first virtual conference center within the eyecare industry that will be open year-round.

“It’s going to be the show that never ends,” said Charlene Nichols, creator, and producer of My Vision Show. After March 25, the platform will remain open with the availability to host exhibitors and meeting events year-round. Participating My Vision Show exhibitors will transform their virtual show booths into “virtual showrooms” throughout the year and will be able to host private events in conjunction with existing and upcoming local and national industry events.

Individuals who cannot attend traditional conferences due to timing, travel, and COVID 19, now have a viable alternative that is not restricted to a single time zone, she said.

The Spring 2021 show with the theme "Share Your Vision" will be highlighting new products and hosting a range of speakers from various segments of the industry. The exhibitors will be targeted to be independent eyewear companies and distributors of independent brands. A directory of those, as of today, are posted here.

Attendance will be handled on a by-invitation and membership platform, giving people to access to the March event and access beyond that. There are several criteria listed on the website here, geared to those who are an owner or an employee of an independently owned optical boutique or eyecare practice or a manufacturer or distributor that works exclusively with independent ECPs.

Nichols explained that each vendor will be able to develop their own specific marketing program through the platform. My Vision Show is now offering a free certification to all exhibitors which will allow them an opportunity to learn how to leverage virtual networking to re-establish their connection to their audience.

My Vision Show, powered by leading virtual meeting technology, is designed to not only facilitate virtual meetings but to ensure that industry professionals can truly connect during the virtual My Vision Show and year-round. Popular participating exhibitors including My Eye Care Team, ION Labs, Optical Near Me, and Eyewear Art Walk will continue to host private events throughout 2021. My Vision show will also continue to host social events including virtual happy hours to keep the community connected and plans to add gamification in future programming.

CRO Journal and OptikCon Ed will provide content for an evergreen continuing education and training platform that will allow educators and students to connect in new ways and the components of these programs will continue to evolve, Nicholds told VMAIL. “We are encouraged by the emerging talents and fresh ideas that are being presented by our future educators. We could not be more proud to be partnered with an educational platform that focuses 100 percent on the needs of independent opticians and optometrists,” she said.

Attendees and exhibitors will be able to receive a preview of the platform by contacting the My Vision Show organizers. Those interested in showcasing a product or service, and those who want to register can do so on the platform here. Said Nichols, "Our goal is to serve a niche in the industry and provide a unique and evolving way for new companies, emerging inventors, new eyecare professionals and others to connect in new ways."
