CALGARY, Alberta—FYidoctors, a leading optometrist-controlled eyecare company, said it has completed a merger deal with Vision Care Plus, based in Alberta. Vision Care Plus operates across four locations located in Leduc, Wetaskiwin, Camrose, and Drayton Valley, and the latest merger brings the total of FYidoctors clinics in the province to 57, according to a recent announcement. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. In operation for over 30 years, Vision Care Plus was founded by Dr. Donald LeDrew in Leduc, Alberta. A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s School of Optometry, Dr. LeDrew’s practice has grown over the years with the addition of three additional clinics across the province.

The clinics offer a lineup of comprehensive eyecare services including complete vision and eye health exams; cataract assessments; dry eye and glaucoma assessments; optomap; eyewear and frames; contact lenses; laser refractive surgery (LASIK) consultations, evaluations, referrals, follow-ups and more.
