BRIDGEWATER, N.J.—Bausch + Lomb,  the global eye health business of Bausch Health Companies Inc. (NYSE/TSX: BHC), said Thursday that it has received 510(k) clearance from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Bausch + Lomb Infuse daily disposable silicone hydrogel (SiHy daily) contact lenses. The new Infuse contact lenses feature a next generation contact lens material (kalifilcon A), which is designed to meet the unmet needs of contact lens wearers, including those who experience contact lens dryness, according to the announcement.

The new lenses are “engineered with Bausch + Lomb's most advanced proprietary contact lens technologies,” and offer outstanding breathability for healthy lens wear while providing exceptional all-day comfort and high definition optics, the company said. A second-half launch is planned, according to the announcement.
