“The Virtual EYE2EYE Series was initially conceived as a series of weekly virtual panels inspired by Vision Expo’s educational EYE2EYE Series. Since launching in April, however, the series has evolved into much more than that,” said Tarrence Lackran, director of programs and partnerships at The Vision Council and organizer of the Virtual EYE2EYE Series. “Beyond serving as a way to host several panels originally scheduled for Vision Expo East 2020 in adapted formats, the series has also served as a platform from which we can come together for timely conversations addressing current challenges in the vision community, and the response has been overwhelming – a testament to the truly collaborative nature of this industry. We are excited to continue these insightful conversations in August.”
