LOS ANGELES—De Rigo REM has announced a multi-year extension of its exclusive licensing agreement for the design, production and distribution of John Varvatos prescription frames and sunglasses globally. Under the new agreement, De Rigo REM will also be responsible for the development and distribution of the brand’s younger, casual line Star USA, which will launch in select national chains this summer. The John Varvatos eyewear collections are distributed through De Rigo REM’s sales network, as well as John Varvatos e-commerce and select boutique stores.

This renewal marks 15 years of collaboration between De Rigo REM and John Varvatos. The renewal strengthens the partnership forged in 2006 and reinforces the company’s dedication to growing the brand’s presence in the optical channel. Outside the optical channel, the John Varvatos brand also offers tailored clothing and sportswear, accessories, footwear, luxury skin care products and fragrances.
