De Rigo and Fila Announce Renewal of Licensing Agreement

LONGARONE, Italy—De Rigo and Fila have announced the renewal of their licensing agreement for the design, production and distribution of Fila-branded prescription frames in the EMEA, the Americas, Australia and New Zealand. The new multi-year agreement between the two companies “confirms the solidity of the partnership that began in 1996 and continues today with mutual satisfaction,” De Rigo said in an announcement. In 2020, Fila Eyewear recorded a 9 percent growth in global sales, driven in particular by sales results in Europe and the Americas. Over the years, Fila has grown from a tennis and sportswear brand into an icon of pop culture and athleisure fashion, establishing a lifestyle concept and a distinctive yet constantly evolving style.

The FILA Eyewear collections are distributed through the De Rigo Vision sales network, which includes opticians and department stores.
