PARIS and MILAN—Chanel and Luxottica have announced the early renewal of an exclusive licensing agreement for the development, production, and worldwide distribution of sunglasses and prescription frames under the Chanel brand name. It is a five-year agreement, which will come into effect on January 1, 2020 and run until December 31, 2024. It also includes a possibility for renewal for a period of three years, from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2027.
