Paul A. Volcker, the former chairman of the Federal Reserve who worked diligently over many years to subdue inflation and who passed away Monday at the age of 92, in a 2010 interview with The New York Times, as reported this week by The Times in its obituary. The newspaper noted that, for his second marriage, Volcker set up the honeymoon for the Virgin Islands.
