NORWALK, Conn.—IDOC on Monday said it is launching a full suite of turnkey practice management services designed to help independent ODs reduce the time spent on business tasks and focus their efforts on patient care and other pursuits. For the first time ever, IDOC said in its announcement, it will make services available to the entire independent OD private practice community in what is “a continuation of its mission to empower practice owners to live the practice of their dreams.”

IDOC members are eligible for discounts that apply to every IDOC Service offering.

The newly launched products and services include:

  • IDOC Financial Services—Bookkeeping, payroll support, performance analysis and financial management.
     
  • IDOC HR Services—24/7 Hotline, staff hiring and development, employee policies and workplace management.
     
  • IDOC Marketing Services—Website development, search optimization, social media campaigns and more.
     
  • IDOC Optical Services—Retail strategies, merchandising, vendor selection and sales analytics.
     
  • IDOC Specialty Services—Dry Eye and other patient-focused clinical specialty programs.
“Comparable services are often prohibitively expensive for independent practices,” added Oliver Spandow, EVP and chief financial officer, “yet are vital to competitive success in the long-term. Last month, IDOC expanded its Optical Service offering with enhanced Optical Consulting, strategic advice and analytical tools designed to increase retail sales in independent practices, as VMAIL reported.
 
The service, IDOC Optical Consulting, is included in the dues for both Advisor and Select memberships and is now available for the first time to “Essential” members for a monthly service fee. 
 
In addition, IDOC in April of this year added IDOC HR Now, a comprehensive HR management service, which is powered by ThinkHR, as VMAIL reported.
