COLUMBUS, OHIO—The Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA) announced that its annual meeting will be returning to a live event this year, as reflected by the NORA 2022 conference theme, “Better Together.” The conference is scheduled for September 8 – 11 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus in Columbus, Ohio. Conference organizers said they have restructured the conference agenda and will not be offering separate pre-conference and general conference sessions. Rather, the conference will be one three-and-a-half day event, from Thursday to Sunday, so registration will cover the whole conference.

Foundations of Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation (Previously Clinical Skills 1), Clinical Applications of Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation (previously Clinical Skills 2), and Extended Concepts in Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation (previously Advanced Course) will now each be one-day courses on Thursday. On Friday, NORA will conduct a symposium for all attendees with a variety of speakers presenting information and case studies on how prisms and lenses are utilized for TBI rehabilitation.

The last day-and-a-half of the conference, from Saturday to Sunday morning, will feature selected speakers/presentations in the main conference hall. The conference will end before noon on Sunday to give attendees time to check out of their hotel rooms and catch afternoon flights. NORA will release additional details about the conference agenda soon.
