NEW YORK—Last weekend, everybody was talking about the same thing: Black Is King. Beyoncé’s newest visual album, which released on Disney+ on Friday, July 31, is a stunning, important piece of artwork that “centers on ideas of Black belonging and regality,” NPR reports.

The film is visually stunning, from dramatic panoramic landscape shots to makeup, fashion, and, in no small way, eyewear. The featured eyewear in Black Is King is nothing short of show-stopping, featuring blinding stones and avant-garde shapes that all warrant a second, third, and fourth watch. Kerin Rose Gold, who heads up accessories brand A-Morir, was behind many of these designs. Having worked with Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg and more, A-Morir has shown the impact independent designers and their designs can make. The brand’s designs for Beyoncé include three custom crystal-encrusted styles, which are also available in limited quantities online.

Beyoncé also sported four eyewear designs from Australian brand Poppy Lissiman, Refinery29 reports. Those designs include a red-lensed cat-eye look, an elongated custom runway collaboration with Puppets and Puppets, a crystal encrusted pair, and another dramatic cat-eye.

In addition to these eyewear designers, Beyoncé spotlight a vast array of Black fashion designers, from Loza Maléombho, a West African designer based in Côte d’Ivoire to D.Bleu.Dazzled—a full breakdown is featured on The Cut.
