PADOVA, Italy—Kering Eyewear’s long-term investment strategy to develop its business in the Eastern Europe region continues with Europe, as the company confirmed the opening of a new subsidiary in Central Eastern Europe, with a new branch in the Czech Republic. The move follows the opening of its subsidiary in Croatia last February and signals the company's strong confidence in the potential of the region, the announcement said. The new office will be located in Brno, a city in the southeast of Czechia.

The operations will allow Kering Eyewear to have a firsthand presence in the area, as well as a better integration with its local commercial partners, directly overseeing its distribution chain while being closer to its clients and improving service. “I strongly believe in the great potential of this strategic region and I am confident that with this new opening Kering Eyewear will take a further step forward in the development of its business in Central Eastern Europe” said Roberto Vedovotto, president and CEO of Kering Eyewear.

“The opening of the new office in Brno, which counts on a team of professionals with well-established experience in the luxury eyewear sector, together with the subsidiary inaugurated in Croatia last February, will allow Kering Eyewear to work more closely with its clients, representing once again our continued commitment toward the countries we operate in”.
