WARREN, N.J.—Mondottica USA announced the launch of a multi-year license agreement with Boardriders for the design, production, and distribution of Quiksilver prescription frames and prescription sunglasses for the optical channel in the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean. Boardriders is a leading action sports and lifestyle company that designs, produces, and distributes branded apparel around the world, including Quiksilver. The Boardriders culture is casual, young-minded and inspired by a passion for outdoor action board sports.

Mondottica USA will launch Quiksilver in the Spring of 2022 with 20 men’s optical styles and eight men’s polarized prescription sun styles, later to be followed by eight youth styles for back to school. In a release, Mondottica USA said, “As an extension of the long-term strategy of Mondottica USA, the alliance with Boardriders marks a welcome addition of an active lifestyle brand with strong consumer appeal in the U.S. and Latin America.”
