This year, the Rexys was presented as an online variety show. Each award category was showcased as a comedic skit such as this one based on "Jeopardy!" that highlights women’s performance products.

SAN DIEGO, Calif.—SportRx, a leading supplier of sport prescription sunwear, presented their fourth annual Rexys award show on October 14. The virtual event, also known as the SportRx Awards, showcases the best sunglasses and eyeglasses in a variety of performance and lifestyle categories. Nominees in 13 categories are determined through customer feedback, sales data and optician analysis, according to a SportRx spokesperson. Finalists are chosen by a panel consisting of the company’s opticians who determine which frames capture the essence of each award.

"A person's eyewear is the first thing they put on in the morning and the last thing they take off at night," said Rob Tavakoli, SportRx vice president. "It's high time we celebrate and honor the best brands and frames in the business."
